Jack boy.....

Jack had so much fun at the Whitmyer's with Mango. He enjoyed a good 3 days away from us and has been SO tired since he has been back! I am hoping he was pretty good for them and not jumping up and getting too excited, but even at 107 pounds...he is still a puppy! Melanie said they were pretty good...so hopefully he'll get to go back again and have another playdate! His new place to sleep is under the kitchen table. We have to move the chairs because he still thinks he can crawl underneath them. He is too stinkin' cute though!

Jack saying..."What do you want now!!!? Can't you see I'm resting!?"

"Fine!....I sit up for this one..."

Summer Fun...

Well, it has been a little over 2 weeks since school has been out and I've felt like a non-stop crazy woman! It has been SO exciting though...reunion, friends moving in town, scoring the MAP (that part wasn't really exciting though...but I did get paid!), hanging out with family, etc. This week I helped the Morrison's with Savannah and Sawyer while they unpacked box after box after box after box after box....you get the picture don't ya!? They had over 500 items that the moving people took out of their huge truck! We unpacked most of the kitchen, living room, and play room, but they still have TONS to do. I wish I could have stayed longer to help either unpack or watch the kiddos while they did. Hopefully they will be able to get most of it done before Ryan has to go back to work. Mike came up Tuesday after he got off work and the Malone's also came to the Morrison's new house. We unpacked boxes, ate Chinese for dinner, and played ImagineIf...we had a great time! Here are some pictures from the last couple of days of the kids! They are the cute ones ya know!

Hanging out at our house.... At Mid Rivers Mall while Heather and Ryan were signing the house papers and getting their keys. Sawyer was the bus driver taking Savannah to school. Savannah was talking to her Grandma on the way to school! So cute! At the Burger King slides...

Morrisons are here...yeah!

The Morrison's finally arrived to Columbia! Yeah! We have been relaxing and enjoyed a nice bbq dinner. I will post some pics later...we are off to play games!

Reunion...

Well, I made it through! I don't know why I was nervous to go in the first place, I had such a great time. I mingled with almost everyone and got to catch up and hear about the last 10 years....I think the funniest comment of the night was "Kasey...you aren't a tomboy anymore! You look so grown up!" lol... I had so much fun catching up with friends that I hadn't seen in a long time and had a blast seeing old faces and seeing how everyone has changed! I stayed out way too late but it was worth it! Enjoy the pics!

I even saw one of my students, A, there! How fun! Here are some pictures...enjoy! I am off to St. Louis for the big reunion...Have a great Saturday!

We can't forget about....

Mike's high school pics! Here they are...

Speaking of high school

I thought some of you would enjoy seeing some of my high school pictures through the years....don't laugh too hard! I couldn't change the order they are in for some reason, so they are mixed up....enjoy!

10 years and getting older...

This is my Thursday thought...join in this discussion by clicking on comment and leaving a thought! * This Saturday will mark my 10 year high school reunion! Yep...good 'ol class of 1997! Where does the time go? I can't believe that I will be back seeing friendly faces on Sat. night. I am a little excited but also nervous! I mean...it has been 10 years since I have seen some of these people. At the time, I guess I thought high school was the best time of my life...I had friends, sports, family, I got good grades, no real worries, but I guess I never really thought I fit in. Yes, I had athletic friends/teammates, and those who were "popular" friends, and even friends whom no one really liked. I just had lots of different groups of people who I hung out with but those groups didn't really hang out together at the same time... I guess I am just worried that when I meet up with everyone on Saturday, they might (and I know some still do) hang out with the same people from high school (even though there is nothing wrong with that) and I will feel like an outsider/loser. What am I afraid of though???? That I am not "cool" enough? That I won't fit in? I know I have had a GREAT 10 years after high school: college in Miami playing division 1 soccer, traveling to the Cayman Islands, becoming independent, meeting new friends from other states/countries, meeting Mike and getting married within 6 months, teaching, having a great family and great friends, having 8 surgeries on my legs, back, and knee through the years. Who can complain about the life I've led? I guess high school takes us all back to that awkward time in our lives, trying to fit in but also trying to be an individual too. My Thursday thought is what did you think about your 10 year high school reunion (if you've had yours) or high school in general? Be honest....did you hate it? love it?

Throw us Thoughts Thursday

Heather decided that she is going to have a "Throw us your thoughts Thursday". I am going to try to keep up and post a topic here that we can leave comments about, etc. Read Heather's link first....(she said it so beautifully that I won't even try to change it into my own words!) * Read it here * Here is her first thought which you can read here Don't forget to read the comment sections too... I will have to post my throw us your thought later today... but for now I will leave you with the kind of American accent I have... :)

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

Philadelphia
The Inland North
The South
The Northeast
The West

Jack boy...

So it is official...Jack is not a puppy anymore! Dr. Frank came by today to give him some shots, weigh him, and take his 1st blood sample. Jack was a pro! I was so proud of him. I love our vet! He comes in and says hello to me and then plays with Jack for about 5-10 minutes before even doing anything. Jack gets to play and smell all the new things that he brought. He got about 3 shots and Dr. Frank was "talking" to Jack the whole time while he was taking his blood sample. He was saying "some dogs look and some dogs don't look while I am taking their blood, but it is completely up to you Jack." :) So cute! Jack looked for a second and then turned away...just like his mommy! Jack now weighs 107 pounds....yep...thats what I wrote...107! He is not overweight either! He said in about 2-3 years Jack will probably get closer to 120-125 pounds! He was so good the whole time. He even laid at his feet while he was writing up the total and telling me that we can now take him off the puppy chow....our little "black boy" is growing up..sniff, sniff....
As we speak, Jack is passed out from all the excitement, but I thought I would leave you with a picture of him!
Jack...born Nov. 21, 2005 (at time of pic...approx. 1 month old)
He's the big one in the middle! ;)

Jack approx. 3 months old and over 30 pounds already!
