First of October

Happy October 1st!

Just wanted to share some thoughts on this beautiful fall day...

  • October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month...these are perfect for any fundraising activities you may complete. This month is our 2nd annual Washer Tournament in remembrance of my Aunt Barb. I think these will be a perfect addition to our party. Click here to see all of the FREE printables that Heather from Chickabug made!

  • Went to Peachtree Farms this morning. Had a great time feeding the animals, looking at the pumpkins, going on a hayride, and enjoying the sunny, cool weather. More pics to come soon!

  • Lots of stuff going on this month! It's amazing...as soon as summer is over, it seems the months fly by even faster (if that's even possible!) and we are rolling right into the holiday months. I am helping throw my sister in law's baby shower next week and when we were trying to find a date to have the shower, it was crazy hard to find a date that worked for everyone's schedule with the upcoming holidays, out of town trips, family pictures (taking other people's and getting ours done), homecomings and such. Even though she's not due until the 9th of December (give or take some days)...We didn't want it too close to Halloween or Thanksgiving and we wanted to give her (and Dave) plenty of time to get things opened, put away, or returned so they could actually ENJOY the last few weeks as just a couple. And get lots of sleep! :) Needless to say, I can't believe a few months ago we were trying to nail down a date that worked for her (and with us girls throwing the shower) that it is actually almost here! I think we are ready and can't wait to see all the goodies baby girl Laughlin will receive! :) She'll be here soon!

  • Let's go CARDINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
