Hospital round 2

Wednesday I went to see my doctor and everything was looking great for the baby...but not for me. I still couldn't keep anything down and again was dehydrated. My doctor wanted me to go straight to the hospital for round 2. I was checked in and hooked up to an IV with more meds and fluid. I hated being away from Evan and Mike. Mike's mom was able to help out again, thank goodness. I was in the hospital until Friday afternoon and was finally hooked up with home care. I got a picc line put in (and that hurts SO bad!) so the zofran pump is being continuously released. The bad part is it sticks out of my arm and I'm not supposed to lift anything too heavy. Do you know how hard it is wanting to pick up your own son and you can't? Or you can put him to bed knowing that his fingers might grab the iv on accident. Hearing him call out ma-ma-ma-ma over and over and not really being able to do anything except lean over and kind of give him a hug. It breaks my heart. I can't pick him up to put him in his high chair, or give him a bath, or pick him up to change his diaper....I hate feeling helpless and not being able to help. I know this will pass but I wish it would hurry up. But for now, I'm glad to be home.
