Poor baby...

Does this face look like a boy with a double ear infection? Well....he is. We are on day 5 of medicine and it's not getting any better with him sleeping for his naps. He cries for at least an hour straight...not always the blood curdling cry, but a constant cry of pain :( I called the doctor again today and we are onto a hopefully bigger and better drug, augmentin. I am hoping this does the trick. When he is awake he is in a pretty good mood because he is distracted by playing with his toys and listening to his sick mommy sing to him (yes, I have a virus and ear infection too). Here's hoping we are both feeling better soon...

Some funny moments from the past few days that I want to write down so I remember:
  1. When I've been blowing my nose and Evan is watching he seriously cracks up laughing! It's pretty funny to see him get such a kick out of that!
  2. When he's been nursing and I sing to him, he's been putting one finger on my lips. I'm not sure if it's because he wants me to stop singing or because he knows that's where the sound is coming from. I'm thinking the second option ;)
  3. He's been big into giving kisses lately. Love these big 'ol wet open mouth sloppy kisses! When I give him one back, he comes right back at me with another one. It seriously melts my heart and is something I know I will never forget.
  4. Has been taking his sleeping blanket and glow worm and throwing it out of the crib and also taking toys and throwing them over the gate into the kitchen for Jack. And let the fun begin.... :)

Poor Laughlins! So sorry. :( The good news/bad news is the augmentin should do the trick on his ears. Beware the diapers, though. That stuff must literally be toxic!
