Laughlin Christmas

We celebrated the Laughlin Christmas on the 26th. We missed the Indys who were at home as well as Lynne and Harold who had to stay in Iowa because Grandma Harmon isn't doing so well. Dave and Sarah hosted Christmas this year and we had such a fun time. Sarah and I were in charge of the menu and if I must say so myself...we did an excellent job! It was yummy! We had fun watching the boys dance to Michael Jackson trying to show Evan their moves...hopefully he won't pick up any of their moves...especially Uncle Dave! ha! We had fun watching E open his gift and play with his new cars as well as play a game of Buzz on PS2. Thanks Dave and Sarah for hosting!!!

Surprise!

Mike surprised me yesterday on our anniversary by taking a half day, taking me to see a movie of my choice (The Tourist...highly recommend!) and heading out to dinner at Longhorn where we had delicious steak! He set it all up with my friend Kayla and her daughter Maddie to come babysit and watch Evan while we went out for the afternoon. It was a great day...and my flowers are beautiful! Thanks Mike...love you!

8

Happy 8th Anniversary to us!

I can't believe how fast the last 8 years have gone by...So excited to spend the rest of our lives together and see what is in store for us! Thank you for being a wonderful husband and an amazing dad! Love you...

Christmas morning

We had a nice relaxing Christmas morning at home as a family of three...I made monkey bread for breakfast and a yummy dinner! :) It was nice watching Evan so much more into the Christmas season than last year. We had a white Christmas and he kept repeating "snow" and "santa" and "ho, ho, ho." It was pretty cute.

He loved his magnetic bath boats and Little People Pirate Ship...

Broke the remote control car in 2.7 seconds! ;)

 Enjoyed reading his new books

and listening to the real Christmas story about Jesus from momma...

He loved watching Daddy put together his Toy Story legos and then tear them apart right after he was all done!

Yes...it was a perfect Christmas all around...

Christmas Eve celebration...

We definitely missed Aunt Barb this year at our big family Christmas Eve party. Love that her tree is decorated for Christmas though...

Santa came! Unlike last year, this year there were only a couple of babies that cried.

Evan was in a trance as he came down the stairs!

Mom, her siblings and her mom

Getting ready for our ride back to Columbia to celebrate Christmas morning in our house...

Christmas Eve morning...

We celebrated Christmas with my family on Christmas Eve morning and had a great time. We were definitely spoiled this year! Thanks Mom and Dad for the great presents and fun memories! Love you...

1st Christmas program

Evan had his first Christmas program on Tuesday at the Mother's Morning Out Church where he attends on Friday. It was a wonderful program and the teachers did an amazing job...especially with 15 toddlers! They combined the Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday classes so everyone who was able to attend was there. There were toddlers, 2's, 3's, and 4's and they each performed a couple of songs. Evan and his group performed "If you are happy and you know it" and "Jingle Bells." It was so cute and he did such a good job!!! Once we get the video I'll see if I can upload their songs.

If you're happy and you know it...clap your hands!

If you are happy and you know it...shout hooray!

If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it...

Jingle Bells...he loved shaking them! :)

 Thanks for coming!!!
