Bzzz.....

I feel like I've been as busy as a bee lately! Here are just a few things going on...
  • Parent teacher conferences: We had these last week so I was busy getting paperwork ready, assignments/tests in each folder to show parents, comments ready and complete on their report card and getting times set and confirmed to meet with the parents and the student. Not to mention, grading papers, keeping up with book club assignments, end of the year organization/activities, etc.
  • Grad school: We have a lot of assignments coming up before the end of our class in a couple of weeks and I;m feeling a little overwhelmed! We have our statement of philosophy due, an interview with another ELL teacher, a big highlight on pedagogy project and mine is this Sat., and readings/answering questions each week. I'm hoping I can get a lot done this week and finish my lesson plan/pedagogy assignment that is due on Sat. and try to get it done by Wed. or Thurs. at the latest.
  • Not sleeping very well...I feel like I'm exhausted and ready to go to bed by 9, but then will lay there for at least 2 hours, moving, trying to get comfortable, peeing, etc. Definitely not fun! I can't believe how many times I get up throughout the night to go to the bathroom! I guess God just prepares women early for not getting sleep when the baby comes!
  • Trying to help Mike around the house. I feel like I am not doing enough around the house to help him out. He's definitely been amazing throughout this whole pregnancy and has been doing the laundry, cooking and cleaning without complaint! I feel bad because I can't really help out and when I do I get so tired so quickly.
  • Getting bigger by the minute and can't move like I want too! :) I finally had to go get some new clothes today (head over to our pregnancy blog and check that out) and feel like I'm getting slower and slower! Teaching is going well, but I definitely feel it at the end of the day! I can't really bend over and get things off the floor either!
  • Here's hoping to some relaxing days ahead before our little baby gets here!

Yeah, I tried to clip my toenails yesterday. It took me about 15 minutes. Time to start booking pedicures. :)

I lie in bed thinking about all the things I have to do in the next 85 days. :)

You're bending over to pick things up gave me a good chuckle...I can totally relate! At least next time you do this you'll have a little guy around to do all the picking up for you, our girls have been great about this!!!
