ugh!

I am so annoyed and disappointed today. My ovulation kit turned positive today, so I called the doctor to schedule an appointment for Mike to go in and do his thing (which, the place Mike goes isn't affiliated with my doctor's office and they are really snobby). Anyway, Mike is in a mandatory training in Jeff City for crime scene investigators and has a lunch from 11:30-1pm. I called, hoping to get him scheduled between that time. They said the only time they had available was 1:30. That is not going to work...I tried again and said maybe sometime tomorrow afternoon and they said they don't have make appointments for Friday afternoons. Geez! My doctor tried to help us out, but couldn't do anything. I am so annoyed! The part that makes me the most mad is that you know they don't have appointments during that time....it is their lunch break and NO one wants to be a nice human being to help someone out. Man, they are selfish! That place is the only place in town that will get male sperm washed and ready for the IUI. So...needless to say we'll try the regular way this month, without the IUI, to see if that works to have a baby....I'll keep you posted.

Hi Kasey! I just wanted to thank you for looking at my blog. I'm sure Amanda told you to out of pity! Just kidding. Anyway, I read your post and I hope everything works out for you!

It is disappointing, but sometimes the regular way can be a great consolation prize...

I totally understand. We had to cancel our IUI last month due to scheduling conflicts. It stinks to take the clomid and then not be able to take full advantage of it. Another funny thing is that you and I are on exactly the same schedule. I don't have an appt with my fertility doc here in STL until later this month so we are on our own this time too. Best of luck!

Want me to go over there and beat them up for you?? That is just ridiculous. How heartless can they be?

Thats not too nice of them to not be flexible with times like that. They should know out of all people how time sensitive things like this are, and if thats what time you guys need, they should work with you. I hope the bes for you this month!

Kasey-
I found your blog through the Wohlgemuth and Crowder sites. I have not talked to you in ages, but I always asked your sister how you were doing. It is such a bummer about the scheduling. I hope things work out! I will say a little prayer for your family. Take care!
